When you feel overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious, try these easy activities until you can take the next step to feel better. Presented by Jodi Aman, Therapist and Spiritual Mentor, currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work.

Stretch your body, squeezing and releasing tension.

Drink more water.

Sleep and wake up at the same time each day.

Listen to music.

Light a candle and set an intention.

Have compassion for yourself .

Eat fruit or vegetables.

Spend time outside.

Breathe deeply.

Pet your pet.

Compliment someone.  

Watch funny videos.  

Listen to an uplifting podcast.

Send a thank-you message.

Take pictures of beautiful things.

Color or draw. 

And finally, please tell someone that you are struggling and ask them for help.
