Meet Reshma, a high school senior who knew that educating others about mental health resources, as well as positive messaging, plays a part in breaking the stigma and providing hope for those dealing with a mental health issue.
For her Peer Project Grant, Reshma created hang tags that promote the Crisis Text Line. After designing the tags, she purchased the materials, then met with her friends to put them together. The tags were distributed at a high school football game. These attractive, cheerful hang tags can be hung from the rearview mirror of your car, making them easily accessible. As Reshma explained, “The more we reach out to each other as young adults to say ‘it’s ok to not be ok,” and to let others know they are not alone, the more powerful we become! Thank you to MFA for helping me share my light and let others know that they matter."
