Julianna is a 14-year-old eighth grader who cares deeply about mental health support for teens, as she suffers from anxiety herself. She has found that getting involved with the arts can have powerful and lasting effects for her. Julianna specializes in painting very colorful canvases! She decided to paint mini canvases with inspirational words for her Peer Project Grant, to be uplifting and kind. She delivered her beautiful canvases to The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, CT last week, and they will be included in holiday packages for the Center’s clients.
“Giving back to the community through my artwork is a personal achievement. My hope is that my paintings bring smiles to those who may be going through rough times. I am very appreciative of my friend ABBY’s mission and am proud to be a part of their organization”
